Beginner Yoga Classes at Energies Balanced

We currently offering beginner classes, so if you are new to yoga, or if your not new to yoga, but need to restore your practice, these classes are perfect for you! There will be a strong focus on posture and alignment and also breath and meditation. Currently there is space for 6 people in our studio at a time, so we will be going on a first come, first served basis.

Suggested donation of $10.00 or less per class, we also except home cooked meals or anything else that may be a useful barter.

Lisa is Teaching at New Studio
Lisa teaches beginner hatha yoga for alignment at Austin’s new donation based studio Seva Yoga, classes are held on Friday mornings from 10:30-12:00 am! Our intention at Seva yoga is to serve our local community by bringing yoga to everyone, also part of your donation goes to my chosen local charity, Project Transitions! The studio is located at the corner of Barton Springs and S. Lamar in the same parking lot as Alamo Draft House, the sign on the window reads Austin Yoga School. Teaching Yoga at the YMCA in Austin
Lisa Johnson teaches Primary Ashtanga Yoga classes in Austin at the Town Lake YMCA. Modified Primary Ashtanga classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 pm – 2:30 pm, and Ashtanga Fusion classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Hatha alignment classes are Friday night’s from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm and on Saturdays from 12- 1:15 pm, there is a non member fee 10.00 and no fee if you are a member of the YMCA. Lisa is excited to share the knowledge she has acquired from her teachers in the Living Yoga Program & The Austin Yoga Institute where she studies Iyengar Yoga. She is certified by the LYP and registered through The Yoga Registry as a RYT/200 instructor.
